This creamy Kesar Pista Oatmeal Bowl is infused with the rich aroma of Saffron, topped with caramelized bananas, muesli, chia seeds, and pistachios — wholesome, comforting, and naturally sweet! 💛

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 100 ml low-fat milk
  • 3 tbsp soaked chia seeds
  • 1 medium banana (for topping or caramelized)
  • 2 tbsp homemade muesli (no added sweetener)
  • 5 pistachios, chopped
  • A few strands of Samah’s Kashmir Mongra Saffron
  • 1 tsp honey or natural sweetener (optional)
  • ½ tsp ghee or butter (for caramelizing banana)

Instructions

  • 🌸 Soak saffron strands in 1 tbsp warm milk and let them bloom for 5–10 minutes.
  • 🥣 In a pan, add milk and oats. Cook on low flame until soft and creamy.
  • 💛 Stir in the saffron-infused milk and mix well. Sweeten with honey if desired.
  • 🍌 In a small pan, heat ghee and caramelize banana slices until golden.
  • 🥄 To assemble:
    1. Add the cooked saffron oats to a bowl.
    2. Top with caramelized bananas.
    3. Add soaked chia seeds, homemade muesli, and chopped pistachios.
  • ✨ Finish with a drizzle of saffron milk or honey.
